Sa Amin Film Poster

Our Place is part of an ongoing collaboration between SF Urban Film Fest, SOMA Pilipinas and [people power media] to empower communities confronting displacement, to assert their rightful connection to a place through the power of storytelling and creative space activation with programming that is free and open to the public.

The untold story of Filipinos in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood is screening in four Filipino diaspora communities San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Jose on the SA AMIN: OUR PLACE California Tour! The screenings will open with Oscar Peñaranda reading from his most recent book “Follower of the Seasons: A Onethology in Symphony”. Q & A discussions follow each screening.
